You can open epub files from your computer in your browser, too, just like you can use your browser as your pdf reader. choose the epub file you want to open, select open and start reading your ebook directly in the browser. select the folder icon in the new window. To open your epub file, select the epubreader chrome extension icon at the top right side. if you’ve updated, you’ll need a new program to open epub files on windows 10. update: the new, chromium based version of microsoft edge doesn’t support epub files. If edge isn’t already set up as the default program to handle epub files, right click on the file, point to the “open with” menu, and then click the “microsoft edge” option. here's a 3rd party free app from windows store that could be use to open epub files. you'll either need to download an extension in edge or look for a free app from windows store.
